Pauline E. Shillak, 75, of 428 S. Seventh St., died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday at Keokuk Area Hospital East. She had been ill for three years.
Mrs. Shillak was born Jan. 16, 1902 in LaHarpe, Ill., the daughter of William and Charity Hatfield Bryant. She later moved to Keokuk, where she lived most of her life.
She married Ernest Shillak June 12, 1945 in LaHarpe. She attended the Second Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Ladies of the Moose.
Mrs. Shillak is survived by two sons, James McGhghy of Keokuk and David Washburne of West Point; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Vera) Hawley of Keokuk and Mrs. William (Vestaline) Theiss of Rockford, Ill.; 32 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband May 28, 1966, two sons and a daughter.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the DeJong Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
