DALLAS CITY, Ill. -- Albert L. Roberts, 75, Quincy, formerly of Dallas City, died Friday, February 25, at Blessing hospital.
He was born in Adams County, April 5, 1896. He married Ruth Latherow in October, 1913. She preceded him in death. On February 5, 1968, he married Amy Reed.
Mr. Roberts was employed as a machinist until his retirement. He was a member of the Baptist church.
He is survived by two daughters, Julia Sirotek, Chicago; June Weiss, Dalton, Ill.; two sons, Eldon, Ft. Madison; Glen, Dallas City; one brother James, Florida; seven grandchildren; and 22 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 29, at Dukers Mortuary, Quincy. Graveside service will be conducted at the Harris cemetery, Dallas City with Feidler Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
