DEATH OF MRS. CLEVELAND
RIGGINS

Anna May Gillenwater Riggins, daughter of Henry and Sarah Ellen Bowlin Gillenwater, was born near Pittsburgh, Kans., Oct. 28, 1891 and passed away Dec. 16, 1932 being at the time of her death 41 years, 1 month and 9 days of age.

On March 24, 1924 she was united in marriage to Cleveland Riggins.  To this union a little son, Edward was born, which was the joy and pride of his mother's heart.  Since their marriage they made their home with Mrs. Jane Riggens where Anna shared the love of her aged mother-in-law.  She was a true and devoted wife, a loving mother and a faithful daughter-in-law.  She was a favorite among her neighbors, being of a quiet disposition and ready to help the sick and needy.

She was a member of the Baptist church, of Pleasant View, Kans., for several years and it was a great pleasure for her and her little son to attend church services at St. Marys whenever she could.

Besides her heart-broken husband and son, Edward, aged 8 years, she leaves to mourn her aged mother, two brothers, Clyde and Bert Gillenwater, of Pittsburgh, Kans., also her mother-in-law, Mrs. Jane Riggins, of Oak Grove vicinity; one aged uncle, John Gillenwater, of Kansas; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.  Her father and infant brother have preceded her to the Great Beyond.

We have lost our darling mother
She has bid us all adieu
She has gone to live in Heaven
And her from is hid to view
Oh that dear one how we loved her
Oh how hard to give her up
But an angel came down for her
And removed her from our flock.
