Alma E. Rich, 89, rural LaHarpe, died Thursday in McDonough District Hospital, Macomb.
She was born Nov. 3, 1894, near Fountain Green, a daughter of Maurice and Estella Hobart Yetter. She married Roy C. Rich Jan. 29, 1918 in Keokuk, Iowa. He died April 11, 1970.
She was a member of the Fountain Green United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margie Zimmerman, rural Colchester; two sons, James E. and Clifford E., both of LaHarpe; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Huston, Mrs. Naomi Lewis and Mrs. Elgin Hardisty, all of LaHarpe; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday at the Banks and Beals Funeral Home, LaHarpe, the Rev. Norman Howard officiating. Burial was in the LaHarpe cemetery.
Memorials to the heart fund and her church have been established.
