Tammy Kay Rash, 37, of Keokuk, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
She was born July 31, 1966 in Kirksville, Mo., the daughter of Larry and Carol Happs Fojtik. On Feb. 27, 1993, she married Tim James Rash in Hancock County, Ill.
She graduated from Kara Baptist Academy in Alexandria, Mo., with the Class of 1985.
Mrs. Rash had been employed by Metzeler Automotive in Keokuk, for seven years.
She was a member of the Anchor of Hope Fellowship in Keokuk, and was very involved in church activities. She enjoyed making crafts, collecting beanie bears and loved horses.
Mrs. Rash had a great sense of humor, loved being around people and making them laugh. She was a loving wife and mother and treasured the times she spent with her family.
Survivors include: her husband of Keokuk; one son, Timmy Hornung of Carthage, Ill.; her mother, of Hamilton, Ill., her father and his companion Dixie Egley of Alexandria; two brothers, Craig Fojtik of Keokuk, and Chuck Evermon and his wife Shannon of Keokuk; grandmothers, Rachel Happs of Keokuk, and Geraldine Wilson of Alexandria; aunts and uncles, Jerry Happs and his wife Becky, John Happs and his wife Kathy, Raymond Happs, Stanley Happs, Rick Happs, Neil Schutte, Connie Powers and her husband Greg, Chris Preibe and her husband Kris, Donna Kay and her husband Elmer, Tracy Shuman and her husband Mark, JoAnn McVeigh and her husband James and Vickie Hamilton; and two nieces, Brittany and Haley Evermon.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vic Wilson, John Happs and Gertrude Henley and one aunt Susie Mann.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Anchor of Hope Fellowship in Keokuk, with Rev. John Varner officiating.
Burial will be in the Buena Vista Mound Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Anchor of Hope Fellowship with the family meeting with friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
A memorial has been established for her son, Timmy Hornung.

She is survived by her husband, Tim of Keokuk, IA, one son, Timmy L.
