Column 7Funeral Rites for
William G. Printy
Are Held SaturdayFuneral services for William Grant Printy, 87, well-known Hamilton resident, were held Saturday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. in the Hamilton Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert Means officiating. Music was furnished by Miss Irva Peters and Mrs. Zella Hanerhoff. Pallbearers were Wayne Printy, Edward Printy, Marlin Miller, James Printy, Hubert Clark and Wilbur Clark, all grandsons.
Mr. Printy died in his home Wednesday, Oct. 23. He had been in ill health for several years and bedfast for several weeks.
Born July 8, 1870 in St. Mary's he was the son of James Madison and Caroline Booz Printy. He was married in Keokuk, Oct. 19, 1896 to Cora Belle Dill, who survives.
Also surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Mark Clark and Mrs. Dulcie Foulkes of Keokuk; Mrs. Tracy Miller, Mrs. Philip Williams and Mrs. Louis Stewart of Carthage; Mrs. Theodore Goldenstein of Ft. Madison and Mrs. Albert Allen of Webster; three sons, Damon, of Chicago, Harley, of Keokuk and William, Jr., of Hamilton; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
