Column 3JULY 22. -- Died at his home in this township on the night of the 17th inst., Moses Printy. Mr. Printy seemed in his usual health the day before his death and was busily engaged with his farm duties. When his wife went to awake him for breakfast she found him dead. Apoplexy is supposed to have been the cause of death. The deceased was born in Ohio in 1822, and came to Illinois in 1839 with his parents and has resided here continuously since. In 1858 he married Margaret Cameron, who survives him with two sons and two daughters. Mr. Printy had been a worthy member of the Christian church for thirty-two years. In business matters he had his full share of life's trials but surmounted them bravely and left his family comfortably situated. Moses Printy was a good man in the broadest meaning of the term, and in his death the wife has lost a loving and affectionate husband his children a kind and indulgent father, and the community an estimable neighbor and citizen. Judge Scofield preached an able funeral discourse at the St. Mary's M. E. Church on the occasion of the burial. Interment at the Holland cemetery.
