Funeral services for Lee Porter of Plymouth were held Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 1:30 p.m. in the Cookson Funeral Home. Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery.
Mr. Porter died Sunday in Memorial hospital in Carthage. He entered the hospital Tuesday, but had been ill a long time.
He was born 64 years ago to Elmer and Hanna Beery Porter at Palmyra, Mo. On July 10, 1935 he was married to Maude Martin in Macomb. She survives.
Also surviving are four children, Mrs. Mary Warner, address unknown, Mrs. Evelyn Crawford of Statesville, N.C.; Clay Porter of Hamilton, and Russell Porter of Lincoln; and a half-brother, John Sammons, address unknown.
