Ronnie Patterson, 53, Hamilton, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa.
He was born Nov. 18, 1948, in Benton, Ark., the son of Orlando N. and Marie Bufford Patterson.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Patterson of Hamilton; one sister, Joyce (Michael) Williams of Donnellson, Iowa; one brother, Charles (Mary) Patterson of Hamilton; one half-brother, James (Alice) Childers of Hamilton; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Merle Patterson.
He graduated from Carthage High School, Carthage. He had attended Victory Worship Center and Faith Assembly of God Church in Hamilton. He enjoyed cars, working on motors, and doing automotive work. He had worked mowing yards and enjoyed gardening. He enjoyed watching car racing, attending church, and listening to spiritual music and faith tapes.
Services were held Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 11 a.m. at Lamporte Funeral Home of Hamilton with Rev. Jerry Goodrich officiating. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
A memorial fund has been established.
