Mrs. Jessie Patterson, 95, of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, formerly of LaHarpe, died Aug. 16, 1982 in Pleasant Manor Care Center.
She was born in Lomax April 7, 1887, a daughter of Carl and Sarah Graham Cushman. On May 16, 1907, she married James Patterson in LaCrosse. He died Aug. 16, 1961. Mrs. Patterson lived in the LaHarpe and LaCrosse communities, moving to Mount Pleasant in 1972.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Iris) Maas of Shreveport, La., and Mrs. Karl (Ila) Smith of Mount Pleasant; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Thursday in the Banks and Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe, with burial in LaHarpe Cemetery.
