Died at her late home near LaCrosse, Ill., of quick consumption, Mrs. Daisy May Lucas Patterson, March 20, 1904, aged 22 years, 1 month and 6 days.  The youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Lucas, who moved with her parents to Macon Co., Mo., in the spring of  '84 and returned to Hancock Co., Ill., August 13, 1902.  Was married to Wm. B. Patterson, October 19, 1903.  She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, mother, two sisters and two brothers, Levi and Morris, who reside with their mother at La Plata, Mo., Lillie and Ida of Hail Center, Texas.  Her father preceded her March 6, 1900.  Her mother being present at her illness and death did all in her power to make her last end comfortable which was a great solace to her during her trying ordeal.  Deceased was a charter member of Burnside Rebecca lodge No. 590, Burnside, Ill.  The husband and family have the sympathy of their friends and neighbors. Funeral preached by Rev. S. J. Salisbury March 22, 1904.            GUY OAKS


Note:  Daisy Mae Lucas married her first cousin William Bishop Patterson in 1903.
