DEATH OF AN INFANT.

Carrie Elizabeth, day old infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Patterson of this city, passed away Monday afternoon at 4:00.  Besides the parents there are left to mourn its passing, one little sister, Beulah Margaret, 3 years old, also the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Patterson.  Three great grandparents also survive, viz., Mrs. Evalyn Patterson of Carthage, J. H. Butler, of Ewing, Mo., and Samuel Pope, of Millerville, Ala.  The following aunts and uncles will feel the loss of this little life: Bertha, Bessie and Bulah Davis, sisters of Mrs. Patterson, and Mrs. Effie May Coffman, of Elsberry, Mo.; Mrs. Mart Mosley, Homer Patterson of Pontoosuc and Floyd, Ebert and Woodrow Patterson, brothers and sisters of Mr. Patterson.

A short funeral service was held at the home in the west part of town on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock.  Burial was made in the McKay cemetery near Burnside.
