Edna Patterson, 90, of Dallas City, died on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at the Heritage House in Carthage.
She was born on Feb. 1, 1919, in Lomax, a daughter of Harvey and Martha Luella Waterman Thompson. She married Harold Patterson on Aug. 10, 1940, in Burlington, Iowa. He died on June 16, 1999.
She is survived by one daughter, two sons, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 2, at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City. James Oliver officiated. Burial was in the Durham Cemetery in Durham.
A memorial fund has been established for the Blessing Hospice of Hancock County.
