Lemuel L. Parker
Dies at Majorville

Lemuel L. Parker passed away at 11:30 a. m. Sunday at the home of his son, Harley Parker of Majorville.  He was 86 years, 4 months and 7 days old at the time of his death.  Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Majorville church, Rev. Eugene E. Bell of Colchester officiating.  Interment was in the Majorville cemetery.

Deceased was born October 26, 1857, in Hancock county to Charles W. and Rebecca Trowel Parker, deceased.  He has lived in the Majorville vicinity most of his life.  He was married to Ella M. Parker who passed away on May 13, 1923.

Mr. Parker is survived by his son, Harley, a daughter, Mrs. Alma M. Thompson of Carthage, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.  A daughter, Mrs. Alice P. Conn, passed away on Sept. 1, 1915.
