Funeral services for Harley L. Parker, 85, Macomb will be held at 1 p.m. May 18 in the Jones Mortuary Colchester, with the Rev. Ernest Louderman officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester.
Mr. Parker died Tuesday afternoon, May 16, 1972, in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
He was born May 6, 1837, in Majorville, a son of Lemuel and Ella Long Parker. He married Ellen Tippet Nov. 7, 1907. He was a member of the Colchester Methodist Church, and was a retired farmer.
Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Harlin (Madge) Lenix, Burlington, Ia., Maxine Haines, Macomb, and Katherine Jackson, Aledo, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles William; two daughters, Vera Mae and an infant; one grandson and one great grandson.
