Mrs. Vina Nudd

Funeral services for Mrs. Vina Nudd, 76, of LaHarpe were held Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. in the Radden Funeral Home, the Rev. Dewey Caves and the Rev. Kenneth Starbuck officiating.  Burial was in the LaHarpe cemetery.

Mrs. Nudd died Monday afternoon in Mary Davier hospital.  She had been ill two months.

Born Sept. 24, 1882 in Carthage, Va. she was a daughter of Elias and Emaline Bishop Alley.  She married Harry Nudd in Carthage, Ill., Feb. 12, 1902.  He died in 1940.

She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Elmridge, Va.

Surviving are two sons, James and Kenneth, both of LaHarpe; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Jones of LaHarpe, Mrs. Bertha Tyson of Hope Mills, N.C., and Mrs. Minerva Reed of Taneytown, Md., and several nieces and nephews.

Three brothers and a sister also preceded her in death.
