Funeral of LaHarpe
Woman Held Last
Saturday Afternoon

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Nudd, 67, of LaHarpe were held Saturday afternoon in the LaHarpe Christian church.  Rev. A. G. Vail officiated and burial was in LaHarpe cemetery.

Mrs. Nudd died Thursday afternoon in Mary Davier hospital, LaHarpe, following an illness of several months.

Mrs. Nudd was born at Carthage April 22, 1885, to Thompson J. and Emma Nixon Lionberger.  She married Clay Nudd at LaHarpe, Nov. 9, 1910.  From 1903 to 1910 she taught grade school in the LaHarpe vicinity.  She was a member of the Christian Church at LaHarpe and was an active worker in the church while her health permitted.

Surviving are her widower; three sons, Byron Nudd of Springfield, Gerald Nudd of Peoria and Major Harry Nudd, stationed at Holloman Air Base, N.M.; seven grandchildren and twin brothers, Clyde Lionberger of Taylorville and Claude Lionberger of Pennsylvania.
