Munson Held at
Mt. Pleasant SaturdayFuneral services for Roy W. Munson, 67, well known Plymouth farmer and house mover, were held Saturday afternoon in the Mt. Pleasant Christian church. Rev. F. H. Tolliver of Macomb officiated, assisted by Rev. John Botkin of Denver. Burial was in Irwin cemetery.
Munson died Oct. 27 in St. Francis hospital, Macomb. He was born Dec. 8, 1886, in Plymouth, the son of Jerry and Mattie Hawk Munson. He was married in June, 1910, to Lily Douglas, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 20. 1930, he married Marie Batty, who survives.
Surviving with the widow are two children, Lloyd of Plymouth and Mrs. Ruby Householder of Hillsboro, Iowa; a brother, Lee, of Denver; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
