Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Munson, 76, of Plymouth were held Saturday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m. in the Cookson Funeral Home in Plymouth, the Rev. John Botkin officiating. Burial was in the Irwin cemetery.
Mrs. Munson died Thursday, Aug. 8, in St. Mary hospital in Quincy following surgery. She had been a patient since Tuesday.
Born Jan. 3, 1887, she was a daughter of William and Laura Martin Webb. She was married to Roy Munson in February, 1930.
She taught school in Adams and Hancock counties.
She and her husband lived on a farm west of Plymouth until she moved to Plymouth last November.
She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian church.
Surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. Ruby Householder of Birmingham, Iowa and Mrs. Elsie Lair of Industry; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Booth of Plymouth; and four step-grandchildren.
