TYLEE MOSLEY

Tylee Barr Mosley of rural Keokuk (Johnson St. Rd.) died at 8:49 p.m., Sunday at Keokuk Area Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Mosley was born Feb. 15, 1901 in Hancock Co., Ill., the son of William and Paralee Thompson Mosley.  He had been a resident of Keokuk for over 40 years.  He was employed by Dryden Rubber Co. for 27 years, retiring Nov. 20, 1964 as foreman.

He married Clara Waisath in August of 1920.  On January 26, l952 he married Elizabeth Williams in Arkansas.  She survives.  He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his son, Donald L. Mosley of Birmingham, Mich.; a grandson, two granddaughters and one great-grandson; a brother, Harley Mosley of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister; Mrs. Belva Reuck of Carthage and by nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents; a son, Otis F. who was killed in World War II; a daughter, Norma Lois, a brother and two sisters.

Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the DeJong Funeral Home, the Rev. Virgil V. Reeve officiating.  Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery east of Carthage, Ill.
