Column 4Again the cloud of sorrow has passed over this community and taken one of the loved ones leaving a vacancy in the home and hearts of the people which can never be filled. Mary Jane Carroll was born March 6, 1883, departed this life March 25, 1910, aged 27 years and 19 days. She was the daughter of Thomas E. and Louisa Carroll, being one of a family of ten children, three sons and seven daughters. Her mother, three sisters and one brother have preceded her to the future world from whence no traveler ever returns. One of the sisters died in infancy, one at the age of two years, the other sister and brother at the age of 21 and 22 years respectively. She was married to Manford Rufus Mosley the third day of September, 1905. To this union was born one child, a son, who with the father and husband are left to mourn the loss of a mother and companion. Funeral services were held at the Oak Grove church, Rev. Mr. Denham, of Carthage, officiating.
