Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Mosley, 81, Carthage, were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Fecht Funeral Home in Carthage with the Rev. D. E. Skiles officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery east of Carthage. Memorials may be made to the Diabetic Association.
Mrs. Mosley died Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 7, 1978, in Memorial Hospital in Carthage.
She was born May 6, 1896, in Hancock County, a daughter of Jesse Eugene and Ida Mae Printy Smith. She married Melgar A. Mosley April 24, 1912, in Carthage. He died in 1967. Four brothers and three sisters also died previously.
Surviving are three sons, Rollie and Oliver A. of Carthage, and William M. of Moline; three daughters, Mrs. Leota Cludray and Mrs. Leona Smith of Carthage, and Mrs. Harmon (Colleen) Dochterman of West Burlington, Ia.; 23 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
