HOLD RITES FOR
YOUNG MOTHER

Mrs. Virgil Mosley Buried
Here Friday. -- Passed
Away In Keokuk

Hazel Orrillia David was born in Colchester, Illinois, on February 27, 1909, and died at the St. Joseph's hospital in Keokuk, Iowa, March 19, 1929, at 12:30 a. m. after a short illness.  Taking ill Saturday evening, she was rushed to the hospital and there she underwent an operation, from which she passed away at the age of 20 years and 20 days.

She gave herself into Christ's keeping and was baptized into the Baptist church of Carthage, Ill., in the year of our Lord 1921, and has been a faithful follower ever since.

She was united in marriage to Virgil Mosley of Carthage, March 26, 1927, and has been a faithful and loving wife.  To this union was born one child, who will never know a fond mother's love and care.  She will be greatly missed in the home and by her many friends for her many kind deeds and acts and her ever ready love and sympathy toward everyone with whom she came in contact.  This made her one whom it was easy to learn to love.  She always had a welcoming word and smile for everyone, both old and young.

Those who are left to mourn the loss of this loved one, beside the husband and little daughter, Lois Mae, are: Mrs. Laurel Jobe, her mother; Mr. John David, the father, and three brothers and three sisters, as follows: Clifford, Henry and James Earl; Margaret, Edith and Dorothy, all of Carthage, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, March 22, at 2:00 o'clock at the Baptist church of Carthage, Dr. Robt. H. Byler officiating.  Burial in the LaHarpe cemetery.

Dearest loved one thou hast left us,
For that far off distant shore,
To that home prepared for resting
Where we meet to part no more.
