DEATH OF A PIONEER -- OTHER NOTES.
JULY 4. -- Died, at his residence in this township 29th ult., 11:30 A. M., Armstead Mosely, aged 91 years.  Mr. Mosely settled here in 1839, -- native state Kentucky.  He leaves his aged widow and nine children, forty-six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.  The writer preached his funeral at Oak Grove church, a very large audience in attendance.  Mr. M. was a quiet, christian man, and died in full faith of eternal salvation.  His last words spoken to the writer with his last laboring breath were: " 'Dock,' as God is my judge, I've wronged no man; am at peace with God and all mankind."  To his wife, "I see my way clear to heaven."  Thus passed away one of the best friends of our youth, our earnest friend in manhood, our devoted and true one in more advanced age.  Farewell.
