Page 29Doc Molloy Dies, Rites in Bucklin
Otha (Doc) Molloy, 86, Bucklin, died Sunday morning at Pershing Memorial Hospital, Brookfield.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Louis V. Scudiero and Sons Funeral Home, Bucklin, the Rev. Lyle Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Bucklin. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Tuesday. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Molloy was born Oct. 5, 1896 at Ethel, the son of William Augusta and Nettie Mikels Molloy.
On March 28, 1923 at Macon he married Emma Anna Dowell.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Leonard Harold of Bucklin; Donald Lee of Lexington; Mrs. Elbert (Gertrude Lorine) Wax, Marceline; seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and John; two sisters, Mrs. Millie Myers, Mrs. Nancy Rash.
He was a lifelong resident of the Ethel and Bucklin communities. He was a retired farmer and, for 16 years before his retirement, had been a Star route mail carrier for the U. S. Postal Service working out of the Bucklin office.
Mr. Molloy was a member of the Christian Church.
