Bryan Molloy Dies, Rites Friday
Bryan Milton Molloy, 86, Linneus, died Tuesday at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Wright Funeral Home, Linneus, the Rev. Arthur Short officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Friends may call beginning Thursday morning. The family will receive friends after 7 p.m. Thursday.
Bryan Milton was born April 19, 1896 in Linn County, the son of Jefferson Davis and Mary Hayes Molloy.
He married Ora Phillips on Sept. 7, 1919. She died June 12, 1977.
He is survived by a daughter, Joyce Kolle, Evansville, Ind.; a son, Jack of Linneus; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Blanche Meneely, Meadville; a brother, Virgil of Meadville.
Mr. Molloy had taught school for many years in Linn County and later was a federal meat inspector in Indiana.
He was a veteran of World War 1 and was a member of the Evansville, Ind., American Legion.
