Blanche Meneely

Blanche Mary Meneely, 84, Meadville, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at Pershing Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 4, 1912, near Linneus, daughter of Jeff and Mary (Hayes) Molloy.  She married Jim Meneely July 4, 1936.

Meneely was a member of the Meadville United Methodist Church, and the Busy Bee Extension Club.

Survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters, Shirley Sangvenette of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Annabeth Hargadine of Brookfield; four grandsons, Jim and Loren Hargadine of Brookfield, Rick Hargadine of Moberly, and Brett Sangvenette of Yuma, Ariz.; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Martha DeVaul and Betty Molloy of Meadville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and six brothers, Cecil, Bryan, Mack, Wilbur, John and Virgil Molloy.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1996, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield, with the Rev. Lawrence Hammond officiating.  Burial will be in Meadville Cemetery.  Visitation will begin after 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1996, at the funeral home.  The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 that evening.

Memorials to the Arthritis Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
