Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie C. Mason, 86, of 500 Messenger Road, who died Thursday, Nov. 18 at the Keokuk Area Hospital, will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the DeJong Funeral Home with Brother Bill Hauser officiating.
Burial will be at the Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday and the family will meet with friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
She was born Dec. 29, 1895, at Gregory Landing, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Koeber Krueger. She had been a resident of Keokuk since 1928. She was married to Robert William Mason Nov. 15, 1929 at Keokuk. He preceded her in death in 1976. She was a former member of the Alexandria Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert J. Mason of Keokuk; one brother, William Krueger of Canton, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil (Alma) Dockum of Rock Island, Ill., and Mrs. Frank (Mae) Winters of Nauvoo, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, on brother and two sisters.

KEOKUK, Iowa - Mrs. Winnie C. Mason, 86 of 500 Messenger Road, died at 4:36 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 18, 1982) in Keokuk Area Hospital.
Mrs. Mason was born in Gregory Landing, Mo., Dec. 29, 1895, a daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Koeber Krueger. She married Robert William Mason Nov. 15, 1929, in Keokuk. He died Oct. 29, 1976.
Surviving are a son, Robert J. of Keokuk; a brother, William Krueger of Canton, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil (Alma) Dockum of Rock Island, Ill., and Mrs. Frank (Mae) Winters of Nauvoo; and four grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the DeJong Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Bill Hauser. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
