Lucille Mae Malloy

Lucille Mae Malloy, 75, Marceline, died Thursday at University Hospital, Columbia.

Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Bentley-Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline, with James Farris officiating.  Burial will be in Bucklin Masonic Cemetery.  Visitation starts at 2 p.m., the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., and and Eagles Session of Sorrow will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.

Mrs. Malloy was born Sept. 20, 1915, at Marceline, daughter of Franklin Boyd and Della Mae (Fisher) Sternitzky.  She married George Lyle McGinnis; he preceded her in death.  She later married Gene Malloy, June13, 1970.  He also died before her.

She worked in the shipping department at Walsworth Publishing Company, Marceline, before her retirement.  She was a lifelong Marceline resident, and a member of First Christian Church, Marceline and the Eagles Auxiliary, Marceline.  She was a charter member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.

Surviving are three sons, Gary McGinnis, Belton; Terry McGinnis, Rockford, Ill., and Jim McGinnis, Clearwater, Fla.; two step daughters, Kay Taylor, Brookfield, and Shirley Schwin, Waterloo, Iowa; a stepson, Ronnie Malloy, Waterloo; a sister, Darlene Fruin, Marceline; two nephews; five grandchildren, Terry Lynn and Todd McGinnis, Rockford; Christy McGinnis, Belton, and Carly and Mindy McGinnis, Largo, Fla., and several step grandchildren.

Her parents also preceded her in death.
