Ivan (Pat) Malloy, 75, Bucklin, died Sunday1 afternoon at his home.
He was born Aug. 20, 1907, in Macon County, the son of Abraham Farrow and Amanda Elizabeth (Fisher) Malloy.
On June 30, 1928, he married Bessie Lee Leathers at Bucklin.
He was a lifelong Macon County resident, member of the Bucklin First Christian Church and Marceline Masonic Lodge 481. Mr. Malloy farmed in the Bucklin vicinity.
Surviving are his wife, Bessie, of the home; two sons, Forral and Earl, both of Bucklin; five daughters, Norma Snow, Paducah, Ky., Sara Greer, Bucklin, Elaine Johnson, Bucklin, Sherill Rowland, Sedalia, and Glenda Wood, New Cambria; 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Clara Whisenand, Delavan, Ill.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters and one grandson.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Bucklin First Christian Church, led by the Rev. Lloyd Morgan, Bolivar, the Dr. Lyle Anderson, Bucklin, assisting.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Gilleland Funeral Home, New Cambria, with burial in New Cambria Cemetery.
Visitation at the church will commence at 1 p.m. Wednesday and continue until the service commences.
Masonic services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in New Cambria.
