Column 3Saturday Rites For Mrs. Malloy
Funeral services for Mrs. Cleoria Emily Malloy, 84, New Cambria, who died yesterday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital, Marceline will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gilleland Funeral Home, New Cambria, conducted by the Rev. Julius Rechtermann with burial in New Cambria Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today.
Mrs. Malloy was born near Hart, in Russell township, April 18, 1891, the daughter of William D. and Alice Rose Baker. On Nov. 19, 1913 she married William Philip Malloy and most of their married life was spent in the New Cambria community where they were engaged in farming. Mr. Malloy died Feb. 27, 1963 and she continued to live on the farm until December, 1964 when she moved to town. She was a member of the Zion Methodist Church northwest of New Cambria.
Survivors include: son, Ralph Malloy, New Cambria; daughter, Mrs. Francis (Ruby) Maddox, New Cambria; sister, Mrs. Merelean Stephenson, New Cambria; brother, Albert Baker, Bucklin; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Frank, Everett, and George, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Dowell.
