Column 4MALLOY -- Rev. C. A. Malloy, aged 69, of 212 north Fifth street, died at the Mahaska hospital at 3 o'clock p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1948. Mr. Malloy, a retired minister of the Church of God had been ill for some time. He had been a resident of Oskaloosa the past 27 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Malloy; one sister, Mrs. Walter Mason of Oskaloosa; three daughters, Mrs. Ernest McGriff of New Sharon, Mrs. Clara Owens of Oskaloosa, and Mrs. Dan Fowler of Des Moines; six sons, Asa, Audrey, Roy, Charles Jr., all of Oskaloosa, Perry of Anabel, Mo., and Orville of Harvey, 24 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the New Sharon Friends church. Rev. Earl Prignitz of the Friends church will be in charge. Burial in the Friends cemetery in New Sharon.
