Ruby Pearl Maddox, 83, New Cambria, died
Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003, at Loch Haven Nursing
Home, Macon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at Gilleland & McElwain Funeral Home, Macon, with Rev. Aubrey Burk officiating.  Burial will be in New Cambria Cemetey.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Thursday evening, Oct. 16, 2003, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Maddox was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Hart, daughter of William Phillip and Cleo Emily Jane (Baker) Malloy.  She married Frances Milton Maddox.  He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Maddox was a member of the former Puzzle Ridge Baptist Church and was a seamstress.

Survivors include one son, Larry Maddox, Excello; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Erma Malloy, New Cambria, and Hazel Renner, Clarence; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ralph Malloy.
