Woman Are Held
Yesterday AfternoonFuneral services for Mrs. Julia Emma Lorton, 72, of LaHarpe were held yesterday afternoon in the Banks funeral home at LaHarpe with Rev. E. M. Shaw officiating. Burial was in the LaHarpe cemetery.
Mrs. Lorton died in Mary Davier hospital, LaHarpe, Sunday night where she had been a patient for 10 weeks.
She was a daughter of Samuel Henry and Catherine Huston Tilton, born at Macomb Jan. 1, 1883. She married Harry Lorton Jan. 19, 1902. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are four daughters, Miss Velma Lorton at home, Mrs. Wanda Mills and Mrs. Josephine Collins, also of LaHarpe, and Mrs. Gertrude Wiles of Canton. Eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Will Sherman of Warsaw, also survive. A daughter, Mrs. Eva Allen, and seven brothers and sisters are deceased.
