Daniel Joseph Londrie

Daniel Joseph Londrie, 59, of Keokuk, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at 4:30 p.m. at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.

He was born on May 9, 1944, in Keokuk, the son of Lewis and Ruth Wright Londrie.

He had lived in Keokuk for most of his life and was self-employed as a handyman.

Mr. Londrie had served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include: three brothers, Lewis Londrie of Barstow, Calif., Donald Londrie and his wife, Karen, of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Robert Londrie and his wife, Janet, of Muscatine; a sister, Mary Sirtak of LaHarpe, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Connie Londrie of Keokuk; two aunts, Maxine Wright of Keokuk and Norma Cadieux of Tampa, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Londrie; and three sisters, Betty Michl, Dorothy Schlosser and Joy Ireland.

Graveside services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Keokuk National Cemetery with full military rites.  Brother Bill Hauser will be officiating.

Burial will follow the service.

Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the graveside service.

DeJong's Funeral Home in Keokuk is in charge of arrangements.
