Raymond Royal Lipper, 69, Warsaw, died Saturday, in his home.
He was born Oct. 10, 1917, in Wyaconda, Mo., a son of Carl and Millie Izetta Billings Lipper. He married Bessie A. Stamper, April 24, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
He was retired from Dadants Co. in Hamilton and was currently employed by the Farm Service Co. in Carthage. He also had farmed for many years in the Durham and Warsaw areas. He was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Roxie) Fry of Burlington, Iowa, and Mrs. Irvin (Beverly) Chase of Sperry, Iowa; two sons, Rodney of Burlington and Philip of Warsaw; four brothers, Dean of Montrose, Kenneth of Kahoka, Mo., Delbert and William of Burlington; five sisters, Mrs. Denia Stutz of Kahoka, Mrs. George (Ella) Everman of Wyaconda, Mrs. Wayne (Nelda) Overhaultser of Arbelia, Mo., Mrs. Jim (Twila) Elder of Burlington and Mrs. Virgil (Willa) Bronstine of Canton; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.
Services were held Tuesday in the Lamporte Funeral Home, Hamilton, the Rev. Rex E. Hendrix officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw.
