Albert Leroy Lemley, 77, of rural Tennessee died Thursday, Jan. 11, 1990, in his home.
He was born Aug. 8, 1912, in Warsaw, the son of Bert and Goldie (Carle) Lemley. He married Mildred Darlene Moore on March 14, 1936, in Macomb.
He farmed for most of his life in Hancock and McDonough counties.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Arthur Lemley and Junior Lemley of Tennessee; three daughters, Mrs. Bill (Shirley) Riggins of Colorado Springs, Colo., Helen Lemley of Tennessee and Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Baxter of Macomb; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Alberta Rhea, Mrs. Nellie Dobbins and Mrs. Louise White, all of Colchester; and a brother, Virgil Lemley of Carthage.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Neiser Funeral Home in Carthage with the Rev. Brad Fangman officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
A memorial to the Heart Fund has been established in his name.
