On Saturday Miss Hazel McConnell gave an announcement party at her beautiful home near town, and instead of announcing her intended marriage she surprised all for she was already married.  Following is the announcement read by her cousin, Miss Montague: "Married in Lewistown, Ill., June 30th, Miss Hazel McConnell, and Russell Knoedler of Blandinsville, Ill."  Of course everybody was astonished.  After the ceremony the bride went to her home and the bridegroom to his, and his own parents were not aware of the fact until about three weeks ago.  Following the announcement party the happy couple went to Blandinsville and to housekeeping in a house already furnished and ready for occupancy where we leave them with congratulations, good wishes, &c, hoping the honeymoon will change to honeyshine.
