Flossie Kleckner, 98, of the Montebello Nursing Home in Hamilton, died Oct. 14, 1989, at the home.
She was born April 8, 1891, in Bentley, the daughter of Thomas Nelson and Amelia Emeline Cox Kimbrough. She married Bernard Kleckner Jan. 5, 1918, in Keokuk, Iowa.
Survivors include five grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three children, a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Neiser Funeral Home in Carthage with the Rev. John Jamison officiating. Burial was in the South Basco Cemetery.

October 14thFlossie "Kimbrough" Kleckner passed away October 14, 1989. She was born April 8, 1891 in Hancock County, born to Amelia Emeline Cox and Thomas N. Kimbrough. She was married to Bernard Kleckner. He passed away September 27, 1972.
To this union were 3 sons, Darrell Kleckner, who lives in Hawaii, Vernon and Garnet Lee, both deceased; and 5 grandchildren.
She was buried in Basco Cemetery.
Funeral services were held at the Neiser Funeral Home on Oct. 17th. Words of comfort were by Rev. John Jamison. Casketbearers were James Burling, John Huston, Marlin Long, Bill Wear, Robert Wear and Howard Walker.
She is also survived by 4 nieces, Olive Earls and Elizabeth Kimbrough, Leona Bivens and Nadine Earls and great-niece, Mary Kathrine Antoine; 2 nephews, Leonard White and Leo Kimbrough.

CARTHAGE, Ill. -- Mrs. Flossie Kleckner, 98, of Carthage died Saturday (Oct. 14, 1989) in the Montebello Manor nursing home in Hamilton.
Mrs. Kleckner was born April 8, 1891, in Bentley, a daughter of Thomas N. and Amelia E. Cox. She married Bernard Kleckner Jan. 5, 1918, in Keokuk, Iowa. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include five grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by three children, a sister and three brothers.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Neiser Funeral Home in Carthage by the Rev. John D. Jamison. Burial will be in the South Basco Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today with family meeting friends from 7 to 9 tonight in the funeral home.
