Column 2Nancy A. Kimbrough, wife of Wm. Kimbrough, died Friday, Oct. 24 at 1:20 a. m., after a long decline from tuberculosis, aged 71 years, 8 months and 25 days. The funeral was held Monday, Oct. 26, at 11 o'clock from the Franklin church. Burial at Seckman cemetery.
Notes:
According to the above obit, Nancy was born in 1837. However, her gravestone reads 1846-1908, and her husbands gravestone reads 1845-1918. The above age could be in error, and it is more likely that her age was 61 years, 8 months and 25 days.
Her husband's name was James William Kimbrough -- not William Kimbrough.
Seckman cemetery is better known today as the Franklin cemetery.
