Marguerite E. Kendall, 79, of rural Plymouth, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999, at her home. She was born Sept. 10, 1920, in Ferris, the daughter of Edgar and Bertha Powell Earls. On Oct. 8, 1938, in Burlington, Iowa, she married Earl Kendall. He survives.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Joan) VanMeter of Cincinnati, Ohio; Mrs. Terry (Janie) Long of Carthage; one son, Marion (Doris) Kendall of Hannibal, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Agatucci, and one brother, Gerald Earls.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Oak Grove Christian Church near Carthage and the Thrifty Fingers Club of rural Plymouth.
Services were held Friday, Sept. 24, in the Hamilton Funeral Home in Plymouth with Rev. Tom VanMeter, Rev. Robert Kendall and Rev. Floyd Saxton officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Garden in Macomb.
Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Christian Church.
