Funeral services for T. Sgt. Marvin N. Jump, 32, were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton with the Rev. Larry Ross officiating. Burial with military rites was in the National Cemetery in Keokuk, Ia.
Sgt. Jump was killed in a car-motorcycle accident March 22, 1975, while serving at the Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines.
He was born Feb. 21, 1943, in Keokuk, Ia., a son of Chester D. and Jennie Marks Jump. He married Miss Lora Cassady Feb. 7, 1964, in Sweetwater, Tex. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Keokuk, Ia., and had served in the Air Force since his enlistment in July 1961.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Kimberly Kay, 10, and Lora Lee, 4; a son, Chester D., 5; his mother of Hamilton; a brother, Joseph D. of Concord, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Carl (Rilda) McVeigh of Hamilton and Mrs. Irvin (Edna) Bell of Sutter.
