Funeral services for Mrs. Clara E. Jones, 83, LaHarpe, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Banks and Beals Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Longdon officiating. Burial was in LaHarpe Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died Thursday afternoon, March 6, 1975, in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born July 8, 1891, in Floyd County, Va., a daughter of Elias and Emmaline Bishop Alley. She married Edward Jones Jan. 12, 1910, in Carthage.
Surviving with her husband are two sons, Leslie of Concord, Calif., and Virgil of LaHarpe; two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
