Mary R. Johnson, 92, of Carthage, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, at the Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb of natural causes.
She was born Oct. 11, 1913, in Colchester, a daughter of Sydney Middleton and Eva Susan Murfin King. On Nov. 7, 1934, she married Hugh Warren Johnson in Carthage.
She is survived by one daughter, Beverly (Phil) Wildrick of Carthage; two grandchildren, Vicki Pointer and Chuck Londrie; five great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979; her parents; one son, Roger, in 1989; one sister; and three brothers.
She was a member of the Oak Grove Church and in her younger years enjoyed crafts and crocheting.
Graveside services were held Nov. 12, at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established.
