Funeral services for Hugh Warren Johnson, 73, Rt. 1, Carthage, were held Monday afternoon in the Cookson-Hamilton Funeral Home in Plymouth with the Rev. Franklin Woods officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery east of Carthage.
Mr. Johnson died Friday morning, May 25, 1979, in Memorial Hospital in Carthage.
He was born April 29, 1906, in Hancock County, a son of Raymond and Martha Babcock Johnson. He married Mary King Nov. 7, 1934. He was employed by King Seeley in Macomb for 20 years and farmed. He was a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church.
Surviving with his wife are a son, Roger of rural Carthage; a daughter, Mrs. Phil (Beverly) Wildrick of rural Tennessee; two grandchildren; and one brother, Hallie of Carthage.
