Rites for Plymouth
Man Held Sunday

Funeral services for W. Curtis Johnson, 77, of Plymouth, were held Sunday afternoon in the Cookson funeral home in Plymouth, with burial in Rosemont cemetery.

Johnson died Thursday night in St. Francis hospital, Macomb, where he had been a patient three weeks.

He was born Dec. 18, 1874, in Hancock county, a son of G. W. and Harriet Harter Johnson.  He married Grace Cornelius in 1901, and she died during the 1918 flu epidemic.  Johnson had operated a threshing machine and sawmill in the Plymouth vicinity in past years.

Surviving are two children, Myrtle of Oklahoma and Earl of Indiana, a sister, Ethel Babcock of Arizona and a brother, Ralph Johnson of Carthage.  Four sons and two brothers, Henry and Raymond, are deceased.
