Column 2Morgan Hoyt Funeral
Today at MacombFuneral services for Morgan Hoyt, 67, of the Colchester vicinity will be held today at 2 p. m. at the Lady-Sargent funeral home in Macomb. Rev. Ernest Louderman will conduct the service and interment will be in Mt. Auburn cemetery.
Hoyt died Tuesday morning in his home in the Argyle lake area after a three-year illness. He was born Dec. 8, 1887 at Joetta, the son of Homer and Eliza Ann Shipman Hoyt. He lived in the Webster and Fountain Green vicinity before moving to Argyle. He was a member of the Webster Methodist church.
On Nov. 12, 1925, he married Emma Oldham Heikes, who survives with two step-children, Mrs. Thomas Moon of Colchester and Ray Heikes of Macomb; four brothers and sisters, John Hoyt of Hamilton, William Hoyt of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Alice Bricker of Mason City and Mrs. Julia Porter of Webster. A brother, Howard Hoyt, is deceased.
