HAMILTON, Ill. -- Mrs. Nana Holtsclaw, 89, of Hamilton died at 9:10 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital at Carthage.
She was born Nov. 20, 1887 in Carthage the daughter of the late Lewis and Emma Dee Patterson. She married John L. Holtsclaw Oct. 3, 1909 in Carthage. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Holtsclaw is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Wallace and Mrs. Alman (Helen) Myers of Hamilton; one sister, Mrs. Kathyrn Harter of Keokuk; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son and one brother.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton. The Rev. Martin B. Olsen will officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
A memorial has been established.
