Harry Geddes Henry of Peoria, Ill., died at the home of his parents of pneumonia, Jan. 9, 1914.  He was born in Fountain Green, Sept. 5, 1876, son of Andrew Henry and Julia G. Henry.

The family moved to Peoria where he grew to manhood.  Early in life he united with the First Presbyterian church of Peoria and was identified with its interests.  After teaching school he has been in business in the city until the time of his sickness.

He leaves to mourn his loss, father, mother, two sisters, Miss Mae Henry, of Alexandria, Egypt; Miss Lolla, now a student of Moody institute, Chicago; two brothers, Guy Henry, of New York City and Bruce Henry of Peoria, and a host of relatives and friends.

Harry was warm hearted and true to his friendship, standing firm for the right amidst the city's temptations, a strong advocate for temperance, fearless in expressing his convictions.  His going, though preceded by several days and nights of physical suffering, was quiet and peaceful as one going to sleep.     L.
