Column 5J. V. Harter, who has been boarding at the hotel here for the past few months, was stricken with paralysis Friday evening about 6 o'clock. He became unconscious and gradually grew worse until he quietly passed away Sunday night about 11:30 o'clock. The funeral services were conducted by Elder L. E. Frazee at Middle Creek church Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment at Holland cemetery.
